This was posted at another site, I thought it had some relevance to us and Jumping automobiles without the proper safety equipment. This kid is crazy and deserved what he got! :shock:

yep... very cool jump... but typical landing... and without the safety equipment... you end up like that kid.

He got off LUCKY! But, ya know he has a damn cool story to tell now. I just hope he realizes he could have easily broken his neck doing that. Dieing is the easy way out compared to when you end up a quad in a wheelchair.

2 1/2 times the length of 'ramp' if you will, and went 50' LESS than corey did at bristol the year before?? AND get your face smashed?? yeah, ok,,,
if he wen't like 15-20mph slower , he would have possibly landed nicely on the downhill side( like a ramp to ramp) ,,
i liked the comment'could you not film this?' ,, nope ,gotta capture it for posterity and to show kids what happens when you don't THINK !,, (i WAS going to say .'you their head' ,, but they can see he sure used his,, to bend the steering wheel !!) LOL

hey.. so he he was alittle stupid an wanted to do a jump an did an got hurt an all you can say is "He got what he deserved" well I hate to say but even he didn't desereve that though.. so he was out to have fun you can say.. I bet that we all did somthing crazy like this when we all was younger.. you know one thing though... at least that kid had the guts to ramp that little ranger like he did..

All I was saying is he is lucky he didn't break his neck. When I say he got what he deserved I meant, I am glad he wasn't killed, but hopefully his injuries will make him a little wiser. I admit I have done stupid things in the past, but this is way out of the realm of anything that most of us have done. You're right he has more guts than brains, and I hope that everytime he thinks about doing something like this he looks in the mirror and sees those scars from the last time he did something without thinking it through. That was a jump in the area of what they did on the dukes. He did it with no safety equipment, no 5 point harness, and most unbelievable of all, No helmet. I bet if you asked any of the stuntmen on the dukes they would say the same thing. He is so lucky that thing didn't nose dive.

I'm not mad or upset or anything.. all I'm saying is he didn't deserved it just for the way he was acting or did what he did.. he was just having fun was all.. an yes he should had a helmet on an at least a roll cage in there with seat belts at least that would have been alittle safer though.. even though I have dail up I couldn't see to much of the take off an landing as it kept frezing up on my screen but I seen that he got some air there an the landing was alittle hard..
