I'll be stopping in a few times a month to start it... except when the snow gets too deep to open the doors.... that's what I liked about the main barn.. not only was it EASY to get cars in and out... but the "human entrance" door, opened IN, so snow was a non issue....

well... snowstorm hit a day or so after I got it stored away... and a few days ago, it FINALLY melted enough, that I could get the door open. So I hooked up the trickle charger, and today, or smetime this week, we will see if it wants to start. It's been "hibernating" since early December.. and 3 months is long enough!<LOL> Although we could still get some snow again this month, nothing expected for the next week... actually supposed to be about 50F today, and the next few days... wohoo!! if nothing else.. maybe I can do some work on the cop car fenders, and such... although wish I could find replacement fenders for the 78.

I've had my Lee out all weekend. Been Great cruising weather here. It's supposed to get up to 11 C today. Guess I will take him out again today. I have some errands to run.

The weather network said that Eastern Canada is getting hit the worst though. They showed one guy using a snowblower to did his car out.

Hopefully you'll be able to get your Lee out soon.

As soon as the weather breaks.. and STAYS broken<LOL>, I will be swapping out my seat covers. Right now I have a mish mosh of 68 & 70 seats... I have a nice set of factory original 68 seat covers coming soon (paid the shipping on them yesterday, previous owner was holding on to them for me, until spring had sprung.. since my storage is limited, right now.) going to keep the good 70 seat covers, in case I need them later... (plus my 68 Plymouth has a almost complete mint set of covers.. except the upper back seat... and worse case.. the 70 is nice, and can be a temp replacement.... until I find the right cover.)
I want to get things done fast.. before I get over my "spring fever"!<LOL> It's supposed to be in the 50s for the next 4-5 days... but rain is forecast for at least parts of each of them... and then goes to the 40s for the next 5 or so days... so Cousine Bee just might get her GL ride, if that snow bank melts... most of the snow on the ground, is already gone....

I have a 68 Charger upper back seat if you're interested.
I tried to upload a picture here, but it's too big. Send me your email if you want the picture.

It's black, and in great shape. I can snip the hog rings and send just the cover, if you have a good frame.

thanks, but the 68 plymouth seat cover is a totally different pattern then the 68 Charger, but I am SURE there is someone on here, that would love a nice black upper seat back...

Got it out on Monday... I think the tree in front of my cousin's garage grew over the winter... man that was a tight fit!<LOL> Took my neice and "Cousine Bee" for a few rides over the next 2 days... and if my brakes had been better, I would have let her drive it... since she came all the way over from germany, just to visit me! (ok.. and phyllis!<LOL>)

took this shot Wednesday
Image
orded this part (between the hose and the booster.) yesterday.. hoping that fixes the brakes...

Should be getting my seat covers soon, also.Wanting to get it to a point where I can feel comfortible driving it any distances, and be able to stop when I want to, not when it wants to<LOL>.

$5 at Advanced Auto... looks right, will find out tomorrow if it is! PRAYING it fixes the brakes. Would loooove having GOOD brakes for a change!<LOL>

you did, but I had already been to the garage (That is where we found the problem)... and I got it at advnced, because that is 4 miles away, autozone is 20+ and in a very busy area.... <LOL>
put it on, and it slid right in.. so I got a new bushing, and that wsn't any tighter of a fit... wondering if I need to put something else on there, so it fits tighter? like a sealant or something?

dang battery was dead again today, and isnt charging very fast... makes me wonder if the new charger is crud, or the battery took a dump!? It is not that old.

lots of theories... most involve removing the head, and range from a new head gasket, to replacing both heads. A few are timing related...

Don

Sorry you are having trouble with your Lee. I hope you can get it resolved quickly. Us guys from the North don't get as long a driving season as the boys from the South.
