Nascar tires

Postby JT01 » Sat Feb 06, 2010 9:05 am

Im building a Dale Sr model and a few years ago a hobby shop that I used to go to had tires that for Nascar models you could get either white or yellow lettered tires I bought some for some models I was working on and they look great much better than the decals they give you in the kits. Does anyone know where I could find some yellow lettered ones for my model im doing now.

never heard or seen pre made nascar tires. normally you just get the decals... apparently rub on type look better than waterslide decals for this application.

I think certain newer Revell models have them, problem is they only fit the wheels that come in the kit.

The best way that I know of to get them is by buying the diecast Nascar that everyone dislikes and you can get cheap and take the tires off of that and use them. You can usually get them for like $5-$6.
