Here is one of the Mustangs that sold recently at the GAC auction , i believe they went for $6-$8k there where three there , but the W.B pulled one out of the auction at the last minute .
They are race cars not really a road car , very little interior .

Why did this fella get vins and COA's?
Buy with absolute confidence for the following reasons: you are buying this car from a licensed bonded dealer who has the original title for the car and the Bill of Sale from Warner Bros Production

The vin numbers under the hood and dashboard match.

The Mustang's where the only vehicles there that had there vin's and you would get a title , the Double Zero was the same , the W.B made sure by removing the Vin's of all the charger's that none of the would see the road again .

That doesn't look right anyway, didn't the people that created these recent Dukes movies ever watch the tv series in the 80's?, it really really makes ya wonder. Boss Hogg didn't have a Mustang he raced, Uncle Jesse had black tilly, that was a solid black Mustang, and Boss Hogg had the Hogg's HellCat car, and that car looked like an old 70's or 80's Chevy Nova or something, some kinda 4 door sedan car, called Hogg's HellCat. Obviously the folks that created that movie forgot about the HellCat car or didn't care much for the original series, or bring back old cars from the original series, beats me. Be nice if they brought back Black Tilly in another Dukes movie and Boss's Hogg HellCat car.

Didn't Boss also run a late 60's gray Camaro against Jessie's black Mustang? Can't remember the episode... Days of Shine and Roses maybe?

Then I kinda hear what DoitToit's saying. Just a tiny bit of respect for the series' history might have allowed the '05 Boss Hogg to sponsor Billy Prickett's gray Camaro racecar. Looks like somebody on the '05 production team watched Days of Shine and Roses for inspiration, and got confused! :?

But then, looking at the recent movies, we haven't seen much in the way of respect for the series from WB, have we? :?

At least they got the General almost right!

Mustang as the villan car makes sense... as the Mustang was the rival in the 1st reunion, and "Lukes Love Story", and a Mustang was used in quite a few other episodes.. "Welcome Back Bo & Luke", the episode where daisy "Won" a car, the episode with Black Tillie, the episode with Augie Detwieller, and maybe a few other race and such episodes...

and fyi... ther ewas also a 65 notchback in the 05 movie also.

The MAIN reason they probably used a 67/68 Mustang in the 1st reunion and the movie........

Bullit.

that, and they couldnt find a Chevy fast enough to make the race look believable!<LOL>
